Whenever anyone would say ‘we’re having pancakes at our house…’ you could guarantee we’d be feeding a crowd. That’s something we’ve always loved. So, we’ve opened our Dutch pancake house on 7 Church Street in York, and now everyone can come to our house for pancakes!
It’s historical and peaceful grounds have earned many awards such as Green Flag and Britain’s best park. Ornamental and woodland gardens, a boating lake, bowling greens, play areas, a maze, educational centre and the stunning Saltwell Towers.

The Forbidden Corner is a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises created within a four acre garden in the heart of Tupgill Park and the Yorkshire Dales. A tourist visitor attraction unlike anywhere that you have been before, ideal for the adventurers and those young at heart!
Exhibition Park boasts many facilities including a large playground, outdoor gym tennis courts, a basketball court, skatepark and a lake.
The park has formal gardens and wooded areas which prove popular with families and walkers. Recently, wild flower areas were added, providing a valuable haven for native flora and fauna in future years. There is a path allowing easy access to areas across the site and the coast and castles cycle route runs through the park, linking up with the North East network.
